AU profile for memes
So okay, the finale of Sarah Connor Chronicles ended on a cliffhanger. John and Weaver went from 2007 to the post-apocalypse future of 2027 to find Cameron, stop Skynet, maybe reboot history -- while Sarah in the past works to prevent the dark future. Then poof, end of series. Here's what happens after that (to fit him into current memes).
Seems that messing with time on two differing points has unforeseen repercussions. Sarah did find a way to stop it. Wellll.. not so much. Merely postponed it. Delayed it. Judgment Day still happens, just not in 2011. It begins later around.. 2025 or something. Also, John is the savior/leader, but not an aged elder general as he would be if he hadn't jumped around time multiple times. And there's two of him, this one, plus the future one, it's complicated.
So John decides to go back, but as usual time travel is wonky so instead of returning to 2007, he comes to 2020, a world still pre-Skynet but with the ever present feeling of dangerous inevitable robot apocalypse. And time and the SCC series timeline is rebooted too, with John, Sarah, and Cameron in 2021 living their secret lives and laying low, while trying to figure their next step (with Cameron and John in high school again).
